Biodiverse cosmetics: Parma Olive Oil, in favor of agricultural biodiversity, enriches the product with its emollient and similar sebum qualities.
Parma Olive Oil – emollient, protective, anti-wrinkle, sebum-like
Ingredient to support biodiversity, understood as the activity of preserving agro-alimentary varieties linked to a typical area due to their extinction caused by the massive use of industrial processes, which impose products more requested by the market to the detriment of biodiversity, and thus favor their re-cultivation. Parma Oil derives from some ancient olive trees that it is important to save and foresee their multiplication as they are genetic sources of great interest for future cultivations, less energizing and more resistant to adversity. Germplasm has been preserved for a very short time in order to reproduce it through biodiverse agriculture and save it from extinction. It is obtained from the squeezing of drupes and is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and contains a fraction of saponifiables very similar to the cutaneous sebum, performs protective, anti-wrinkle and sebum replacement as well as important actions on skin tropism by stimulating repair processes of epidermis and dermis.
Prickly pear oil, antioxidant, regenerating, protective
Prickly Pear Oil has exceptional antioxidant, regenerative and moisturizing properties that give it extraordinary effectiveness, certified and substantiated by studies carried out at the Universities of Messina and Montpellier. This oil also owes its preciousness to the peculiar extraction process. It is in fact obtained only by cold pressing of the seeds and this allows to preserve its beneficial properties. It is naturally and particularly rich in vitamin E, with exceptional antioxidant, regenerative and protective properties of skin hydration and vitamin F, a mixture of essential fatty acids such as omega 3, 6, 9 with innumerable cosmetic properties and fundamental components for correct physiology of cell membranes.
Organic Vinaccioli Oil – antioxidant, emollient
Obtained from the cold pressing of grape seeds which are small seeds contained in grape berries, it is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that is the forefather of omega 6 and of antioxidant compounds.
Microalgae – lifting and stretching
A special photo-bioreactor process optimizes the growth conditions so as to ensure a very high purity and quality of the seaweed extract. The main constituents are polysaccharides, amino acids and vitamins, especially Vitamin C, effective antioxidant and vitamin B12, responsible for the formation and development of cells. It is a “two-in-one” skin lift: instant pressing effect immediately perceptible on the skin with long-term action, protecting epithelial cells from oxidative stress and stimulating the formation of collagen-I, an essential part of the skin’s connective tissue. Thus it is possible to fight the signs of skin aging and the loss of elasticity of the skin.
Pullulan – plumping – anti-aging
It is a polysaccharide polymer produced from the starch of a mushroom, also has strong anti-aging properties. Relieves oxidative stress and strengthens the connective tissue by stimulating the synthesis of collagen.
Kigelia Africana Fruit Extract (dermotensor) – tensor, lifting,
This extract is derived from the large elongated fruit Kigelia africana, also known as the sausage tree. It relaxes, lifts and replenishes the skin.
Low PM Hyaluronic Acid – moisturizing-volumizing.
It appears as a white powder soluble in water. It consists of a linear chain consisting of disaccharide units of N-acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of human connective tissues and gives the skin hydration and support.
Organic Goji Extract – antioxidant, anti-aging
Berry native to Tibet, considered one of the richest active ingredients in the world thanks to the high content of vitamin C, B1, B2, beta-carotene and other antioxidants and amino acids. It has a high antioxidant power and leaves the skin toned, elastic and hydrated.
Rice starch – emollient, refreshing
It is a polysaccharide made up of several glucose molecules which gels in hot water forming a viscous solution which after having cooled has the appearance of a gel. Applied to the skin it is not absorbed but it is stratified by acting as a skin protector with an emollient action.
Panthenol – moisturizing
It is the reduced alcoholic form of pantothenic acid (Vit B5). Thanks to its strong moisturizing, emollient and soothing action, it is the ingredient of choice in dry or irritated skin.
Organic Aloe Vera Juice – moisturizing, anti-aging
It is the mucilaginous juice contained in the internal parenchymal tissues of the leaves of Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) and obtained by cold pressing. Aloe is mainly used for moisturizing and anti-aging products. Thanks to the ability to calm irritations and reduce redness of the skin, it is often used in sunscreen products and in cosmetics used to counteract the aggressive effects of atmospheric agents on the skin.
